Believe me when I say;
That you were so special to me in every way.
With each moment spent with you,
Being a treasure through and through.
Doing things for you gave me such pleasure;
Because it would make you smile, for I was sure.
But I believe in my heart, the time has come;
To see that you are not the one.
You will never know how important our friendship was to me;
It was something you failed to see.
But your view of our friendship would only lead my way,
When you had a need of me that day.
I refused to see it for oh so long;
But now the time has come for me to move along.
With so much to give and offer you;
